Great blooms Helen. Is the first lily in your list of photos ‘Silk Road’? Love the magenta throat in the white bloom. You certainly have an abundant number of blooms today!

  3. Love that Lycoris radiata – such a stunner!

Gorgeous Helen! I have a question for you-does Miss Huff come back each year in your garden? It is reputed to be hardy here and and I will leave some out but still do cuttings just in case. I am admiring the spider lilies. I’ve grown them over 5 years here but this is the first year I have one little bloom. Too funny huh? Those rain lilies are something else.

  5. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy…with any luck I’ll be seeing some of those exact same flowers in person next week! Gorgeous blooms, beautiful photography. Of course, me with my eye for background detail…that Rubus pentalobus groundcover under the Lycoris is gorgeous…tends to get a bit crispy here! Thank you for sharing, and glad you enjoyed those artichoke blooms…when I saw that photo I knew it would be popular!

  6. Hey Jane, that sound about right. Becky Heath of Brent and Becky’s bulbs sent them t me and I didn’t write it down. If I did, I don’t remember where it is. H.

  7. Hey Kathy, I hope they are still in bloom when you are here next week!!! Are you doing the optional tour? Which one? H.

  8. Hey Tina, Miss Huff does well in our Zone 7b garden, but they CANNOT be cut down to the ground. They can be shaped up, but if cut the ground the hollow stem act like a straw and water rots the roots. Yes love the spider lilies. My friend kk gave me 50 last year and I have about 15 up. H.

  9. Hey Laura, next better look good, or I’ll have some splaining to do! Looking forward to your stay! H.

  10. Love the visitor to Miss Huff — and the snail vine. That last one’s a new one for me. Very cute. I’ll have to look it up. Cheers from another Helen.

  11. It all looks so lovely, I wish I could go to GWA this year! The Rain Lilies are so cute, they remind me of Crocuses

  12. So many lovelies! The Yucca gloriosa is really glorious in bloom. I think mine may be taking this year off from blooming. It seems to have some sort of pest~ and I thought they were bulletproof, lol.

    Happy Bloom Day!

    Helen,
I can’t hardly wait to see the real thing in person. No doubt it will exceed expectations. Rain lilies are impressive.Haven’t seen any snail vine blooms down my way yet.

I think you win the prize for most blooms posted. We’re having server issues, so I’ve not seen half of them yet, but what I saw was lovely.

  15. Hey kk, You have the same Rain lilies…how are yours doing.? I hope I did your Lycoris gift to me justice. H.

WOW! I kept scrolling and scrolling and each picture was fantastic. Your garden is first class all the way. Loved the Castor Bean picture.

It sure looks like you will have a lot to hold the eye of this weekend’s garden visitors. I hope all goes well.

  18. Wow, that was quite a bloom day post — SO much eye candy! Seeing the flowers on your canna makes me excited for mine. I have nine canna in the greenhouse that are begging to go out in the garden, but they are going to wait until the spring. I just love their gigantic leaves. Thanks for a fantastic post!

Wow! Such a variety! But my favorite is that yellow iris. Which variety is it? I would LOVE to have that one.
