Garden Party at Historic Oakwood

Garden Party at Historic Oakwood

Dare I say, it isn’t always about gardens…but to give it a garden twist, Alex Gorodezky played alongside Vadim Kolpakov at a garden party I had for the 2007 Garden Conservancy’s Open Days tour also benefiting the JC Raulston Arboretum.  Alex, with others from ELM collective, will be playing this Sunday eveining.  See details below.
Vadim is currently touring with Madonna in London for a Gypsy music tour – yes, that Madonna.   Without question,  Alex could be in London now with Madonna and Vadim, but alas, he has a day job, a gorgous wife who travels and a lovely child at home.  Thus, he must stay close to home.  The good news, you can hear his music and others from ELM this Sunday evening.
Alex and Genya, my clients for many years, also opened their garden (and music) for the Summer Solstice fund raiser I started for the JCRA this year.  Photo above was taken at this party.
Here are the details:
I am happy to announce the next concert of the ELM collective on Sunday,  October 19 at 7PM at the “Meymandi Theatre at the Murphey School Auditorium” in 224 Polk Street in Raleigh. Tickets are $15 at the door.
Please forward this message to all your friends and don’ forget to visit  www.elmcollective.org or check out our MySpace page at www.MySpace.com/elmcollective
Thank you for supporting their music, and I hope to see you all there!
